Abstract


Diabetes mellitus is a disease caused the decline in hormone insulin that are
produced by the pancreatic.The decline in of these hormones causes all glucose consumed the body not processed perfectly, so that glucose levels in the body will increase.Cases of diabetes mellitus in the last three years shows that the number of diabetes mellitus in 2015 were 927 cases. On 2016 were 1175 and then in the 2017 were 1.896 cases.The purpose of this research is to find factor that influences of diabetes mellitus. The research is the kind of research survey
analytic to the research cross sectional. Population research are always 1.896 diabetics mellitus. Sample specified using technique random sampling sebnyak 95 visitors. Analysis data using chi-square test. The result of this research known family history (P.Value = 0,047 and RP = 2,544); sports (P.Value = 0,040 and RP = 0,380); and the pattern a meal (P.Value = 0,002 and RP = 0,240). Conclusion this research is that there is the influence of family history, sports, and the pattern is fed against of diabetes mellitus. It is recommended to health centers to be able to provide policies by making POSBINDU PTM (Integrated Disease Development Post) that aims to empower the community in increasing public awareness and monitoring risk factors for diabetes mellitus both for themselves, their families and surrounding communities
