Abstract


Enviromental health to school includes the provision of clean water, latrines, waste management and sewerage. The low sanitation of the school environment risks the emergence of various health problems and increasing morbidity, especially diarrhea and intestinal worms. The purpose of this study was to determine enviromental health in elementary school West Aceh disrtict.This research uses a qualitative method with a case study design. Number of informants 5 people. Data collection in this study used observation sheets and interview guidelines. Based on the results of the study, it was found that sanitation in the provision of clean water was not appropriate with a brownish yellow color and not enough odor 15 liters / person / day. The distance from the pollution source was more than 10 meters. equipped with a lid on each room and management of waste by burning, sewerage in good condition, does not experience distance leakage from school stalls, clean water sources and classrooms more than 10 meters
